Walkabout
A sort of sequel to the last post.
Jenny Agutter when she was beautiful (and I was only about 5 years old). Heck of a film... Definite classic.
I don’t even kill insects that happen into the house, rather capture them and release them outside. Can you imagine the callousness required to hang another human being like that and what it would feel like to be around such people?
It's a long time since I've seen the film but.... if you mean the scene where the aboriginal boy is hanging from a mango tree, the implication is he committed suicide. He thought his overture to the girl had been rejected but she didn't even know what was going on.
