One of the best songs ever
Silverfiddle mentioned this in comment on the last post, and I'd been meaning to post it anyway. No gimmicks here... just great music.
When I'd come around half lit up my voice would get all scratchy like that dudes. I'd sing like him and my wife, then girlfriend, would forget I was lit. Or ignore it. Who cares. It worked.
Another adorable young lady is Tammi Terrell. I love her cute little-vixen facial expressions in this video. I had a king-sized krush on her when she died at 24.
Wow! That brings back some memories! I wanted to be that guy when I was a kid and heard that song. Now I really want to be him!
