Gone to Baker Street
Gerry Rafferty has died.
By most accounts he wasn't easy to get along with, but he gave us an immortal song.
I know the sax is the big deal, but I still love how that strat screams.
Hadn't heard that he had died. We played the hell out that album back in the days of 8 track tapes. Went and read the NYT bio. Said that "stuck in the middle" was a parody of Dylan. Pretty cool, that.
Happy New Year, magpie. Believe you guys beat us to it.
Happy New Year. Yeah we're in your future. Because most bloggers I talk to are in the US I often think - as I'm looking toward bedtime - "those guys are just getting up this morning...".

I think that's the same question as asking if we can ever truly go home, to which the answer in orthodox wisdom is "no".

I wonder if we EVER settle down and forget about everything?
