ReplyDeleteI apparently don't understand war. WWII was finished in 4 years for the US. Korea - 3 years of "active war." Vietnam - 8 years, Iraq has lasted over 7, Afghanistan almost 9 years.
ReplyDeleteI find it incredibly curious that the more advanced we become in our war-waging capabilities, the longer wars last.
Because it's all about "something else" Bob. How can we the public know this war will never end with a "win", but our supposedly smart president and crew keeps this war going, for what?? I've said it before and I mean it, if Obama doesn't bring the troops home from Afghanistan I will not vote for him in 2012. I just hope a dem runs against him cuz I surely wouldn't vote republican either!
